It’s string art. It’s a heart. AND it’s baker’s twine. How can you not love it? I’ve been thinking of crafting my own string art lately and, while peeking around online, I found this sweet DIY project from Ashley Bores of This Heartmade Life via The Twinery. It’s just too cute not to share!

Not only is it adorable, but it’s pretty simple too: layout your design, hammer nails around said design, and wrap twine to your heart’s content! You could even go all out and create string art initials to display with your heart. I love that this is one of those projects that has no boundaries… use it for your wedding decor, at home on a shelf (isn’t the vignette above so precious?!), or in a little one’s nursery.

i was just wondering how long this toke you to make ?
Hi Eva,
I didn’t actually make this project, but you can find it here. I would guess the most consuming part would be hammering in all of those nails… you could probably knock it out in an afternoon. This one’s still on my to-do list too!
