Succulents are a type of plant that are very common in gardens and as houseplants.  Hens and Chicks, Burro’s Tail, Aloe, and String of Pearls are all succulents that I associate with my grandma… the old school hobby horticulturist who loved the drought-loving plants because they are almost bullet-proof.  But succulents are making a come back, just not as garden plants.  They are showing up in wedding day floral arrangements!
