So what are the TGK gals planning for their Big Apple adventure? I polled the team to find out what they have in store for themselves. Straight from the horses’ – er, ‘Roos! – mouths, here’s what the TGK contingent is looking forward to over the long weekend (see if you can spot a trend here):
~ Listening to Seth Godin (celebrated author with the most read blog in the world!) at the Future Conference.
~ Eating good food, drinking good coffee, and staying in a swanky looking hotel!
~ I’m looking forward to walking around the show floor, checking out the vendors/booths, and checking out our competition!
~ Track down some fabulous pizza (of course!)

~ I’m excited to see all of the booth designs, get ideas, and meet some of the vendors I chat with so often.
~ Bonding with the girls.
~ I’m excited about being amidst the hustle and bustle of New York City!
~ Check out Sullivan Street Bakery (about a block from our hotel; my cousin who lives in NYC has been raving about it FOREVER.)

~ Learning about the current market at our various workshops, which will be neat.
~ In any down-time we do find, I would love to visit the MoMA, the Guggenheim, the Whitney, MAD, and the Met (there are so many!); take a stroll in Central Park; check out Chinatown perhaps; grab some coffee at Dean + Deluca; stroll around town in awe of all the amazing architecture; and a chance encounter with either John Cusack, Sarah Jessica Parker, or Jason Segal would also really make the weekend complete!
I think the ‘Roo crew is ready to take Manhattan by storm!
