Having a bash and need to dress up your table, but don’t have enough in your décor budget? Here’s a simple, fast, and fabulous way to add some pizzazz to your tablescape without breaking the bank: use scrapbook paper! Easily found in party and craft stores, scrapbook paper isn’t just for scrapbooking these days. It’s a fun and inexpensive tool that can add color and texture to your event table. And with so many different prints to choose from, you can let your imagination go wild!

Here are my top tips for using scrapbook paper to spice up your table:

1. Pick your party color scheme and look for papers in coordinating prints and solids. Add interest with a variety of colors. Using prints will give your tablescape texture.

2. Place one sheet under your centerpiece and then select different papers to use as placemats.

3. For an extra special touch, use the paper as a band around your centerpiece. (Cut a wide strip of scrapbook paper and adhere to your container using double-sided tape.)

4. Take it a step further and cut the paper into smaller bands to use as napkin rings!
